dancing in the rain? Photography and Digital Camera

I'm new to this site and to photography, other than with my cell phone! ha. I just got a canon EOS Rebel T21. Im trying to learn the in and outs still, but the books are pretty Greek to me! I can't really afford to take a class right now, so Id really appreciate all the feedback I can get. I know that I was using the creative auto setting while taking this pic. I think its a great pic, but its also a pic of my daughter lol. Please let me know what you think and what i can do to improve! Thanks!

The Tempest--Ariel Photography and Digital Camera

Hello all!
So I'm doing a poster for my local theatre company Murphys Creek Theatre... I have a shot that I would like to use...but I'm not sure which is a better choice for the poster...
We are doing the Tempest in a Steampunk style (which is awesome!) But does this look right? The director wants steampunk...but also fantasy and magical. So do you think I have made a good edit here? Anything I should change? Any feedback would be appreciated =)

75mph and no brakes..... Photography and Digital Camera

This is ranking up there with one of the worst things I've had happen in a while.
Travelling down Interstate 80 at 75mph and realize I no longer have brakes!
I had the cruise control set and when I went to tap the brakes to kick it off it just didn't feel quite right, so I touched the brakes again and this is when I realize they're gone. I felt my heart just about leap out of my chest!

I am just so lucky I didn't need to stop fast. I was able to slowly get down to where I could shift to 3rd, then 2nd, then all the way down to low and get off on the shoulder and coast to a stop.

But seriously, I am getting way too old for this kind of excitement....

Flower power 2 Photography and Digital Camera

(Sorry, I don't know how to delete a thread - info, please.)

I've only had the Tamron macro for a month or two and wanted to give it a real try-out today. It's been cloudy, damp and drippy here, a perfect day for flower photography, right? Off to Elizabeth Park in Hartford. Your comments are always welcome. Thanks for looking.

Macro lens for jewelry photography. Photography and Digital Camera

Hi. I am looking for macro lens for my old canon 300d.

I will need it for quality jewelry shots for my ecommerce site. I managed to take some OK ones with build up lens of 300d. But surely need macro lens.

So far i found 2 "budget" lenses that supports 1:1:

[1]Tokina AT-X Pro 35/2,8 DX Macro
[2]Sigma EX 50mm f/2,8 DG Macro

After checking some reviews i think Sigma will be good for my need.

would like to hear your advice before buying, total noob here:confused:
