Baby portrait Photography and Digital Camera

Hi,
I photographed this baby as a present, I do like this photo a lot but I find many faults so I want to know your opinion.
Cropping, focus and the eye direction are the things that more or less bother me.
I like the image but perhaps Im too subjective, so I wish for some input. How about pp and composition, I really like the diagonal and perhaps thats why it works for me...

Any honest opinion is greatly appreciated, I dont know what to think :(
