First time model posing for me Photography and Digital Camera

Hi all!

i need some help.

A local artist friend of mine is having a female model pose for him and my task is to capture quite a few poses for him to paint later. The model will be wearing an all black outfit consisting of tights and a small tank top. I am working with 2 light stands and white umbrellas with 6500k bulbs, although I was thinking of attaching my speedlite to one of the umbrella stands, I also have a diffuser for my on camera flash when triggering the slave speedlite. Backdrops are black and/or white. I have no remote/wireless triggers so my on camera flash will have to fire. the camera I have is the Canon T2i.

Any general advise would be much appreciated.
